American Express Travelers Cheques

Nothing ruins a trip faster than having your wallet lost or stolen. If you lose cash, it's gone. But Travelers Cheques can be replaced virtually anywhere in the world, usually within 24 hours. So they let you take along peace of mind every time you travel, whether your vacationing in another country or visiting relatives in another state.

We also offer Cheques for Two which offers all the benefits of single-signature Travelers Cheques, but a unique dual-signature feature enables two people to use the same Cheques. Only one person needs to be present to purchase Cheques for Two, but since both of you can sign the Cheques, either person can use them. So one of you can go sightseeing while the other relaxes! There is a small fee for Cheques for Two.

American Express Gift Cheques

Give the gift that's always appreciated - the freedom to choose - with American Express Gift Cheques. Gift Cheques are sure to be loved because they can be used almost anywhere, to buy almost anything. And each Gift Cheque comes with a blank gift card and an elegant gold envelope so everthing you need is all in one package. Perfect for birthdays, weddings, graduations, to say "thanks" or any other gift-giving occasion.

Gift Cheques are available in $25, $50 and $100 denominations. Gift Cheques can be used anytime, they never expire and they are also refundable if lost or stolen. There is a fee for American Express Gift Cheques. Stop by the credit union office to get the gift that will always fit!

Postage Stamps: Save yourself a trip to the Post Office to buy stamps. We have books of 20 stamps available for purchase at our offices.

Money Orders: A money order is a payment instrument that's a convenient alternative to a check. Money orders can be issued from your share savings, share draft checking account, or with cash. Travelers Express Money Orders can be purchased at either credit union office for up to $1000. There is a small fee for money orders.

Wire Transfers: Funds can be transferred directly from your account at St. Agnes Employees Federal Credit Union to accounts at other financial institutions or vice versa. When requesting another financial institution to transfer money to your St. Agnes Credit Union account, contact us for detailed wiring instructions. There is a fee to have funds wired from your St. Agnes Credit Union account. We do not charge you if you wire funds to your St. Agnes Credit Union account, however, you may be charged by the other financial institution.

Western Union: Cash can be sent by Western Union from the credit union to locations throughout the world. Money is generally available for pick-up at Western Union agent locations usually within 1 hour. Some destinations outside the United States may take longer. Contact the credit union for additional information and fees.

Foreign Currency and Foreign Travelers Checks: If you are planning a trip abroad, contact the credit union to get your foreign currency or travelers checks.

Discount Ticket Purchase Program

The following tickets are available for purchase at credit union offices. Tickets can be paid for either in cash or a transfer from your regular share (savings) or share draft (checking) account. Tickets are available to St. Agnes Employees Federal Credit Union members only.
